Mission & Strategy

Our Mission

We passionately love and are committed to Jesus Christ, His Church and Kingdom agenda on the earth. We uphold the Bible as the foundation and cornerstone of all our beliefs, principles, practices and conduct. We also practise love for God, love for one another and love for all humanity, and serve with a heart of compassion. These core values define and undergird the mission of Women In Tune

Ephesians 4:12-13
“…To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

OUR MISSION STATEMENT…

A global army of women, faithfully worshipping and serving Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION IS…

  • To raise women from a place of mediocrity, fear and oppression to their rightful position and status in Christ.
  • To raise Spirit-filled and God-fearing women of prayer and the word; women of strength and purpose, who would recognise God’s voice and respond in obedience to it.
  • To identify and expose the customs, traditions, beliefs, prejudices, false doctrines and cultural and religious strongholds that have worked against and held women in bondage for so long, and to align these with the word of God.
  • To teach, train, equip and empower women to discover their place and fulfil their role in the family, Church, community, society and nation, and through that, raise role models for society.
  • To raise the next generation of young Christian women to run with the WIT vision. To encourage and teach young women to know and walk with the Lord, as well as, address issues of singleness, career, marriage, family and ministry.
  • To raise intercessors and mobilise prayer and intercession for the Church and nations.
  • To equip and raise ‘labourers’ in the nations to fulfil the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • To promote effective teamwork between men and women, in order to build, enhance and advance the Kingdom of God. Our aim is to strengthen the church by bringing women up to work alongside men. (Genesis 2:18-23; Ephesians 4:11-16)
  • To preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and demonstrate the power of God in every nation we operate in, in preparation for the return of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 24:14)
