Women In Tune International Core Values

Our God-given vision, mandate and mission as Women In Tune are shaped by the values of the Kingdom of God, and demonstrated through the following:

1. JESUS CHRIST: We passionately love and are committed to Jesus Christ, His Church and Kingdom agenda on the earth.
2. THE WORD OF GOD: We uphold the Bible as the foundation and cornerstone of all our beliefs, principles, practices and conduct.
3. LOVE AND COMPASSION: We practise love for God, love for one another and love for all humanity, and serve with a heart of compassion.
4. DISCIPLESHIP: We prioritise personal growth and development, incorporating the disciplines of prayer, worship, studying the word of God and evangelism, and the principles of humility and obedience to God as a lifestyle.
5. EMPOWERMENT: We believe that all believers, irrespective of gender, must be trained, equipped and given opportunities to serve. We, therefore, recruit, raise, restore, reignite and release women to serve the Lord.
6. TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION: We cultivate strong team spirit, in order to build unity, enhance creativity and strength our collective mission; with the full knowledge that by working together we can achieve greater outcomes.
7. ACCOUNTABILITY AND INTEGRITY: We mutual respect and accountability, and ensure that our actions align with our beliefs, values and mission; engendering trust within our community and beyond.
8. COMMUNITY: We endeavour to create an environment that encourages strong relationships and fosters a sense of belonging, support, collective responsibility and loyalty.
9. EXCELLENCE: We are committed to achieving the highest quality and standards in all aspects of our ministry’s work.
10. FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION: We believe that the outcome of all our efforts and endeavours must be that the Gospel is preached, believers are discipled, there is national transformation and Jesus Christ is glorified. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Statement of Faith

The Word of God

We believe that the Scriptures are the inspired and infallible Word of God, without error, and as such they are revelation from God to man. (2 Timothy 3:16)

The Trinity

We believe that there is only One God, a triune God, Infinite, Eternal, Perfect in Love, Holiness and Truth, self-existent, self-revealed and manifested to man as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Mark 12:29, Matthew 28:19)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God Who came down to earth, died a cruel and shameful death on the cross, rose up from the dead, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right-hand of God the Father (John 20:31, Romans 14:9, Romans 8:34)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God made manifest through the Love, faith and grace of Jesus Christ. Man can be justified only by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:7-9, John 3:16)

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is present on earth to testify of and glorify Jesus Christ, to commune and fellowship with the believer and to convict men of sin, righteousness and judgement.

The Holy Spirit is present and at work today within the Church through His gifts and fruit. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift that enables each believer to edify him or herself, and such baptism empowers the believer to be an effective minister of the gospel. (John 15:26, John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12)

Men and Women in Ministry

We believe that each member of the Church, both male and female, is a representation of Christ’s Body, to show forth His nature, radiance and glory and by doing so effectively proclaim the gospel to people in all nations and walks of life and making them disciples. We believe that both men and women have been called, given the mandate and anointed to proclaim the gospel and manifest the goodness of God to all flesh. (Galatians 3:26-29, 2 Corinthians 3:1-6, Joel 2:28,29, Matthew 28:18-20)

The Reign and Rule of Christ

We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ, through prophetic destiny and fulfilment, is God’s instrument to establish and extend God’s kingdom until the personal literal coming of Christ to reign over all the earth. (Psalm 110:1-3; Revelation 11:15)
