Pastor Edwina Adhiambo Owaga is a born-again Christian, a Pastor and a mother of two adults.
Edwina serves on the Women in Tune International Council. She also holds the role of a Non-Portfolio Executive Member in Women in Tune Kenya, a supportive and advisory role to the Executive. She introduced Women in Tune to Rwanda with an initial introductory Conference held in November 2024.
As the Principal of the Training the Trainer Programme, Edwina plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient running and functioning of the TTTP. Her remit includes collaboration in reviewing and refining the curriculums for both TTTP Modules One and Two. She also oversees all aspects of the TTTP Graduation and ministry leadership accreditation processes and ceremonies.
Edwina has several years’ experience in middle management roles with over 35 years in Banking Sector. Edwina is a Custody Specialist with a demonstrated history of setting up Custody Services Departments in new markets within East Africa, handling Custody Operations, Corporate Actions, Client Reporting and Client sourcing. She works closely with the market regulators, to validate Laws and Regulations before publishing, Capital Market Product Development and overall Client Relationship Management.
Edwina has participated in several Initial Public Offers within the East Africa Region and provided Registrar Services to several companies. She is generally conversant with the whole of Capital Markets including the roles of the various Capital Market participants. She grew Custody Services in Rwanda from scratch and built a portfolio of over USD.350m. Her passion for Custody is unmatched.
