THIS GREAT SALVATION! (3)
Friday 3 April 2026
Love Overcame Sin And Death
Through their disobedience, Adam and Eve came into bondage to sin and faced God’s severe judgment, including eternal death. However, in the midst of His judgment of the serpent, God promised redemption through the Seed of the woman, Jesus Christ. ( Genesis 3:15 )
With this promise, we are assured that God had neither finished with humanity nor given up on them! There was yet hope of redemption and reconciliation between Him and humanity. The narrative was unfinished; God had a plan in place to deliver humanity from the clutches of satan, sin and death, in the fullness of time.
A MAN OF SORROWS
The most fragile, yet most powerful, picture one could ever imagine or look upon, is that of a weak, rejected, broken and blood-covered naked man hanging on a cross. It is impossible to imagine, let alone believe and proclaim, that this seemingly weak, broken and bloody man is a king; let alone the King of kings, Lord of lords and Son of God! Yet, this Man of sorrows was the fulfilment of God’s promise to deliver humanity from sin.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to earth in human form, and died a painful and cruel death on our behalf. By His death on the Cross, Jesus paid the full price for sin, and His blood was shed to reconcile us with God. ( Colossians 1:20 )
1 Corinthians 15:3 TPT
“For I have shared with you what I have received and what is of utmost importance: The Messiah died for our sins, fulfilling the prophecies of the Scriptures.”
*A DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE *
Herein is the mystery – God demonstrated His love for humanity through death. Indeed, the greatest evidence of God’s love for us is the death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
John 3:16-17 NKJV
“[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [1] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
God certainly does not want anyone to go to hell or face eternal death and separation from Him. On the other hand, God wants us to be reconciled with Him and experience life eternal with Him. Despite His hatred for sin, God loves the sinner, and so loves all humanity.
The only thing that God requires from us, in order to be partakers of this great salvation and its benefits, is to simply believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord. ( John 6:40; Romans 10:8-11 ). If you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ and confessed Him as your Lord, now is the time to do so.
“Man of Sorrows,” what a name
For the Son of God who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
Hallelujah! What a Saviour!

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2026: “BEHOLD JESUS CHRIST”
“When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. [13] And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. [14] His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. [15] His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. [16] He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.” [Revelation 1:12-16]
