Day 2: Search Me O Lord
One day the Holy Spirit said to me, “The Father will never side with the enemy against you!” This is so true! No matter what we have done, when we stand before the Father, He silences the accuser, forgives us our sins, cleanses us from all unrighteousness and restores our garments of righteousness, just as He did for Joshua the High Priest
Zechariah 3:1-7 NLT
“[1] Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Joshua. [2] And the LORD said to Satan, “I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.” [3] Joshua’s clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel. [4] So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Joshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.” [5] Then I said, “They should also place a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the LORD stood by. [6] Then the angel of the LORD spoke very solemnly to Jeshua and said, [7] “This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here.”
PRAYER POINTS:
Today’s Scripture Readings: 1 John 1:8-10; Psalm 51:1-4; Zechariah 3; Psalm 103:8-14
1. Praise and thank God for His mercy, goodness and kindness towards you. Tell Him that He is holy and worthy to be worshipped and adored.
2. Humble yourself before the Lord in repentance: Prayerfully reflect on your life, and ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart, to reveal any sins that need to be confessed and repented (ridded) of, e.g. unforgiveness, anger, pride, worldliness, greed, gossip, fornication, etc.
3. Confess the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus. Ask the Father to forgive and cleanse you from every sin and act of unrighteousness. (John 1:7)
4. Pray and ask the Father to rebuke the enemy and silence any accusations against you by the enemy. (Zechariah 3:1)
5. Pray and ask the Father to refresh, restore and renew you. Ask Him to clothe you with garments of righteousness and help you to walk in the newness of life. (Psalm 132:9)
CONFESSION AND DECLARATION:
Father, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I am out and about, and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You know more about me, than I know about myself.
How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart or the error of my ways? Cleanse me from these hidden faults, and keep me from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Search me, O Father, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path that leads to everlasting life.
Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May every word that comes from my mouth, every thought or meditation of my heart and everything that I do, be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock, my redeemer, my Father. In Jesus’ name! AMEN AND AMEN!

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2026: “BEHOLD JESUS CHRIST”
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” [Revelation 19:11-16]
