DAY 4: Comfort, Comfort My People
Isaiah 40:1-5 NLT
“[1] “Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God. [2] “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem. Tell her that her sad days are gone and her sins are pardoned. Yes, the LORD has punished her twice over for all her sins.” [3] Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, “Clear the way through the wilderness for the LORD! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God! [4] Fill in the valleys, and level the mountains and hills. Straighten the curves, and smooth out the rough places. [5] Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The LORD has spoken!”
The Father speaks comfort and brings hope to us today. He seeks that His glory might be revealed in our lives and families. It is comforting to know that He will remove the obstacles, fill the valleys, level the mountains, straighten the crooked and smooth the rough, and cause His glory to be revealed in our lives.
Today’s Scripture Readings: Isaiah 40:1-5; Ephesians 3:14-21; Proverbs 4:20-27; 1 John 4:18-19; Zechariah 4:6-7; Psalm 19:12-14
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Come before the Lord with praise and thanksgiving; worship and adore Him for who He is. Thank Him for His abundant grace and mercies and comfort.
2. Pray for the Father’s comfort – that He will comfort and strengthen and heal you in every way. Especially, heal you in the inner man – your heart, soul and mind. Pray that the Father would deal with any rejection, pain or hurt experienced over the past year, especially in the ministry.
3. Ask the Father to fill every valley in your life, level every mountain, straighten anything that is crooked and smooth the rough; so that His glory shall would through your life for all to see.
4. Ask the Father to cleanse you and give you fresh garments, as He consecrates you afresh to Himself – garments of righteousness, salvation, praise and gladness, joy and peace. (Psalm 30:11; Isaiah 52:1; Isaiah 61:3, 10)
5. Pray and ask the Father to pour His Spirit afresh upon you. Ask the Holy Spirit to take control of your life and cause you to grow stronger within.

Fulfilling Our Theme For 2026: “BEHOLD JESUS CHRIST”
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. [Revelation 19:11-16]
