Growing Deeper In Worship (30)

Behold Jesus Christ!
When we began this series of teachings on worship, I shared with that during a period waiting on the Lord in fasting and prayer, He revealed many things to us; especially, the urgency of the time and the need for us to strip ourselves of the weights and presumptuous sins that easily beset us. This will enable us to get deeper in the Spirit to behold Jesus Christ and get better acquainted with the Father, so that He can use us for His glory. ( Isaiah 6:1-8; Hebrews 12:1-2 ).
I also shared that the Holy gave us three clear instructions on how we can achieve this… To go deeper in WORSHIP, deeper in PRAYER, and deeper in the WORD of God. These three instructions are for the entire Body of Christ. This is why for the past few weeks, we have dived into the scriptures to discover how we can deepen our knowledge and experience of God, and deepen our worship of Him.
John 4:23-24 NLT
“[23] But the time is coming-indeed it’s here now-when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. [24] For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
TODAY, I simply encourage you to go back to the beginning of this series and refresh your mind over some of the things you learned, then pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you practise them. Ask the Father to open the eyes of your understanding and give you a revelation of Jesus Christ that will change your life and walk with Him, and make you a true worshipper.

[12] His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. [13] He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [15] Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” AMEN!!!
